Tomorrowland Brazil 2023 is only 2 months away! What to wear (festival outfits)

Tomorrowland Brazil is back in full swing this October! With a great, three-day line-up and just a two hour drive from San Paulo, I couldn’t resist not going! Two months is not too far off, so I had better start thinking on the Tomorrowland festival outfits I want to wear while I am there.

Since Tomorrowland Brazil takes place in mid-October, it is technically their spring (Autumn in the US), so we’re looking at mid to high 70s during the day and mid to high 60s at night. The festival runs from 2 PM until 2 AM each day which is so insane! Twelve hours of dancing and raving – can you handle that? If you think you can do a full 12 hours for three days straight, as a woman, you’ll want to wear something comfortable and breathable yet fashionable. Here’s some of my outfit ideas I plan to wear during Tomorrowland.

Comfy Platforms

Platform boots come in all shapes, colors and styles. But lately, I’ve been leaning towards the more punk-emo look. Punk-emo doesn’t necessarily mean getting black strappy platform boots – in fact, I can see myself with other colored ones such as white or pink! My favorite place to find very affordable platform boots is Shein – it is my go-to for cheap platform boots that I know I won’t wear on a regular basis and will probably shelve them after an EDM festival. And also, I don’t mind if they get scratched or torn up. Here are some of my favorite picks from Shein:

There’s also sandal platforms which are just as comfy and just as fashionable! I love the easy strap-on ones as they’re quick to put on and they stay put while walking and dancing. Shein also has a few good ones worth checking out. This year’s Tomorrowland Brazil will still take place during warm season. So if you think platform boots are too much for this weather, sandals may be the better option for you.

Stylish Thigh-High Leggings

If you’re going for boots for this Tomorrowland festival, then pairing them up with some thigh high leggings may give you that extra warmth when the sun sets. I think leggings add a great touch to anyone’s raver look. For me personally, I’d wear them to keep me warm, give me some type of compression for my legs (especially if I am on my feet for hours at a time) and to keep any mosquitos or bugs away (since I heard the festival takes place near a jungle or forested area).

Lots of places offer the cutest selection of leggings. These include Shein, once again, and Aliexpress if you’re ok with a longer shipping time. Amazon has some great finds too for very affordable prices.

Personally, I’m going for the sparkly leggings and the top striped knee high socks as well!

Matching Top & Bottom Sets

This is where the creative juices really get flowing for my next Tomorrowland festival outfits picks! I remember when I attended my first EDM festival in a pair of leggings, a crop tank top and some Adidas All-Stars. Looking at the crowd there, I was awed by all the stylish outfits people put together. It truly is a great way to express yourself in the midst of a fun and happy time.

I’ve since then upped my style game and decided for more daring looks that represented me in the moment. That’s where I came across a gem of a store called Dolls Kill. They’re a bit on the goth & punk side of things but they have a huge selection of outfits (and Halloween costumes!). I’m loving their Club Exx Rude Awakening line. This style of theirs comes in many colors and they’re always coming out with a new set. I went and purchased their Rude Awakening Set in Indigo!

Another great place to get festival sets is, of course, Shein! Very affordable and surprisingly good quality for the price! Shorts go for just $5 to $10 and pair it with any matching top ranging anywhere from $5 to $20.

Cropped Hoodies

As you can tell from my top & bottom sets selection, there’s not much skin coverage! The thigh high leggings will provide some warmth on your legs but for your arms and shoulders (where I tend to get cold the easiest), I’m going to opt in for a cropped hoodie which I can wear on and off when needed.

I looked for some cropped hoodie which would still be breathable enough and also still get to show of my outfit. Alo Yoga makes some quality ones. Also, be sure to check out Shein or Forever 21 for cheaper options that are just as good in quality.

Unique & Funky Backpacks

This is probably my favorite to shop for! The backpacks and crossbody bags I’ve come across are amazing! There’s just so much creativity and humor put into these backpacks. I want practicality but at the same time I also do want to stand out and maybe put a smile on someone’s face.

Many of the selections I’ve come across are made with sturdy materials. Not necessarily leather but you wouldn’t want that anyway if you’re going to a festival surrounded by people likely to spill drinks on you. Or the occasional bad weather to damage the leather. Instead, go for plastic or cloth. Also, keep in mind the size of the backpack or crossbody you choose. Many of these festivals will not allow bags of a certain size so it’s important to check the item requirements the festival has before entering.

According to Tomorrowland Brazil, “refreshers / atomizers, small backpacks or other bags.” are allowed upon entrance. Here’s a few adorable favorites of mine!

In conclusion, folks, Tomorrowland Brazil 2023 is about to take us on a wild ride of beats, energy, and unforgettable moments. I am absolutely pumped to be a part of this year’s extravaganza! The anticipation has been building up, and I am beyond stoked to dance for three days straight!

The line-up looks great this year too! Really looking forward to seeing Alok person as he’s one of my favorite new DJs out there. I’m also excited to sport my Dolls Kill ensemble, socks & comfy platforms!
